VisAssist™, LLC has two products: CueLine® ED and CueLine® READER.
CueLine® ED OverviewCueLine® ED is a reading program tailored for elementary, middle, and high school special needs students. CueLine® ED is an easy to configure and use software program that isolates and magnifies text. Text size and color, background color, number of words, lines of text, and color and location of surrounding "CueLines" are all configurable. CueLine® ED completely takes over the computer's screen to reduce visual distractions and help the student concentrate on the text. A teacher can configure CueLine® ED to assist ADHD, dyslexic, Downe's Syndrome, low arousal, visually impaired, and other special needs students. CueLine® ED can use the computer's built in voice to read the text on the screen to the student. Having the computer read the text helps the student learn new words and provides feedback. CueLine® READER OverviewCueLine® READER is a reading program combined with a library of over 3,500 electronic books, or eBooks, on a single CD for low vision individuals, eye and vocational rehabilitation therapists, retirement communities, and libraries. CueLine® READER is an easy to configure and use software program that isolates and magnifies eBook text. Text size and color, background color, number of words, lines of text, and color and location of surrounding "CueLines" are all configurable. CueLine® READER completely takes over the computer's screen to reduce visual distractions and help the user concentrate on the text. CueLine® READER can use the computer's built in voice to read the text on the screen to the user. Through our association with Project Gutenberg, CueLine® READER comes bundled with several thousand eBooks, including children's books, essays, fiction, histories, and poetry. The Single User Version is intended to be used by the individual reader, at home, at their own pace, for literary pleasure or visual acuity therapy. The display of text on the screen is easily configured. The Single User Version includes over 3,500 titles comprising a wide range of literature by over 1,000 authors. A single licensed copy of the Single User Version may be installed on only one computer. The Multiple Users Version offers all of the functionality of the Single User Version but many people can use it, each with their own configuration settings and bookmarks. It is intended for libraries, retirement communities, clinics, and hospitals. A single licensed copy of the Multiple Users Version may be installed on only one computer.
