About the Electronic Books

CueLine® READER's eBooks come from the Project Gutenberg collection. Project Gutenberg is the first and largest single collection of free electronic books, or eBooks. Project Gutenberg was started by Michael Hart in 1971 and is supported by hundreds of volunteers. As of mid-2006 Project Gutenberg lists 18,000 eBooks in its catalog and has 2 million eBook downloads every month.

The mission of Project Gutenberg is simple: To encourage the creation and distribution of eBooks.
